Braunstein Whisky Edition No.. One is made of specially selected malt varieties that our brewer turns to the fragrant "herb", which contains the alcohol to be extracted in the distillation process.
As something special for Distillers Braunstein distilled to a single time at kolonnedestillationsapparat. It gives a very pure distillate with a delicate character of malt and fresh green fruit.
It already enjoy quiet drink diluted with spring water to an alcoholic strength of 63.4%, giving the ideal conditions to attract the best flavors out of the wooden bowls, where to spend the next year.
Braunstein Edition No.1 stored on a 225-liter oak casks that have previously contained Oloroso sherry. Slowly will fadets flavors of grape, dark chocolate and raisin caress alcohol and a soft and slightly fruity whiskey will evolve.
Dish was hand tapped Thursday 22nd March 2007 and will store in the distillery premises at Køge Harbour, where the natural surroundings will also make their subtle fingerprints of whiskey over the years until it is ready to come in bottles. Whiskey bottled in a very limited number of bottles, as there are only filled a single plate of this historic drink. In other words, a "once in a lifetime" experience.
