Spiced with star anise, which gives the familiar taste of licorice. The plant originates from China and used both as a natural medicine and the kitchen. The south used spice in a big way in the spirits production and is known from, inter alia, Pastis, Sambuca and Ouzo.
Braunstein Destillieriet with its "Star" gone its own way, as brandy is made like a spiced, which draws several different flavors out of the plant. "Star" is rounded off with a low dose of orange peel.
Enjoyed as an aperitif in a timely or untimely.
Color: Light golden
Scent: Soft and gentle fragrance of sweet licorice. In tones of wood and leather.
Taste: Round and full taste of licorice. The aftertaste is dominated by tobacco and a slight bitterness.
